Morris Rugby claimed the first NJSBRO U19 championship.

PISCATAWAY _ Frankie Barr rapidly ticked off several of the elements that were lacking when the Morris Rugby U19 Girls Team was resurrected in the summer of 2012 after a four-year hiatus.

"Our rucking was bad," said Barr, a Boonton Township resident and a junior at Mountain Lakes High School. "Someone would go down and we'd look at that person. We'd just watch. Our forwards didn't understand the concept of the scrum."

Iliff taking her talents to King College in the fall

Ashley Iliff wrestled for the Braves for four years. She started for three. Iliff, who will attend King College, also is successful on the girls circuit. She is shown here in a match against Hopatcong.

NEWTON _ Ashley Iliff was a first grader, probably all of six years old, when she requested more time with her father.

It seems that Ashley missed her dad, Andy, when he was spending long hours coaching wrestling at Newton High School.
