Pinaire's triple drives in two runs

Chatham broke a scoreless deadlock with two runs in the sixth inning.

RANDOLPH _ Chatham third baseman Meg Pinaire has a good memory when it comes to recalling her extra base hits.

Pinaire hasn't had many so certain ones come to mind quickly, like the double she had as a sophomore against Hanover Park. It stood out because it rolled all the way to the fence.

ROCKAWAY _ It took only six days for Whippany Park to gain its first piece of hardware.

The Wildcats, who defeated Mendham 6-1 in the final of the Morris Hills Tournament on Saturday, April 6, proudly posed with the trophy they were awarded and hope it will be one of several they will attain this season.
