Lakers nip Mo-Beard in OT

Mountain Lakes, sparked by goals from Holly Smith and Isabella Fragomeni, nipped Morristown-Beard 2-1 in overtime on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Fragomeni snapped the 1-1 tie with 4:42 left in OT. 

The Crimson's goal came off the stick of Samantha Hutchinson.

Whippany Park 2, St. Elizabeth 1

Goals by Alexa Marzullo and Sara D'Egidio lifted Whippany Park in action on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Carly Yannotta assisted on both scores. Goalie Hannah Klein made two saves for the Wildcats.

Mia Ferriso converted for St. Elizabeth.

Newton 3, Lenape Valley 1

The Braves, led by goals by Victoria Docherty, Kate Barbato and Victoria Rizzo sent their record to 5-0 with a win over the Patriots.

Lenape Valley received a goal from Jessalyn McKenna.

Pequannock 2, Boonton 1 (OT)

Lexi Toback knocked in a penalty-stroke goal with 10 seconds left in overtime to boost the Golden Panthers on Thursday, Oct. 22.

Mikayla Carfello had Pequannock's other goal.

Nicole Krozser was responsible for the Bombers' score.

High Point 3, Kittatinny 0

Goals by Melissa Way, Tyra Wingle and Emily Seely highlighted the Wildcats' victory on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Brittany McKenna had five saves to earn the shutout in goal.

High Point led, 2-0, after the first half.

Boonton 1, Whippany Park 0

Adriana Dika, a senior forward, tallied the lone goal, boosting Boonton over Whippany Park in field hockey action on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Charlie Wagner picked up the shutout by making 24 saves.

Hannah Klein, the Wildcats' goalie, finished with 14 saves

Newton 8, Kittatinny 0

The Braves, buoyed by Natalie Rivas's hat trick and assist, remained unbeaten after four games.

Nikki Rizzo scored a goal and had two assists for Newton. Kate Barbato, Brittany Schumann, Victoria Docherty and Dominique Simeone also converted.

Rikki Pavlick had 29 saves for Kittatinny.

Madison 6, Parsippany 0

Elizabeth Romano posted a hat trick to highlight Madison's shutout of the Red Hawks on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Romano also had an assist for the Dodgers, now 3-1.

Sage Geyer contributed two goals and an assist for the winners.

Glen Ridge 3, Mountain Lakes 1

Goals by Grace Twitchell, Maggie Smith and Maggie Krupinsky fueled Glen Ridge's win over Mountain Lakes on Monday, Sept. 19.

Holly Smith connected for the Lakers off a pass from Isabella Fragomeni.

Mountain Lakes goalie Aline Miller had three saves.

Boonton 3, Vernon 1

The Bombers, led by goals by Nicole Krozser, Brooke Olsson and Rainey Clark, notched their first win of the season on Monday, Sept. 19.

Michelle Tolochko and Julia Leva had assists for Boonton (1-3).

Goalie Charlie Wagner made 11 saves.

Morristown 5, Morris Hills 0

Devon Colquhoun and Callie Sundin struck for two goals apiece to pace the Colonials on Monday, Sept. 19.

Samantha Hessels, Jacqui Miller, Olivia Graham and Olivia Benvenuto had additional goals for Morristown.

Marlena Fahmy finished with four saves for the winners.
