Bucciarelli spurs Parsippany

A first-half goal by Olivia Bucciarelli propelled seventh-seeded Parsippany past Governor Livingston 1-0 in a North Jersey Section 2, Group II first-round game on Monday, Oct. 24.

Sarah DiPippa assisted on the gamewinner.

Bella Rocco needed one save to earn the shutout in goal for the Red Hawks, who will clash with Voorhees in a sectional quarterfinal.

Jefferson 1, Sparta 0

The ninth-seeded Falcons, behind Julia Koonjy's second-half goal, edged Sparta in a Section 1, Group II opener on Monday, Oct. 24.

Danae Benfatti set up Koonjy's score.

Joanna Szpernoga had four saves for Jefferson while Angela Elzind rejected six shots for the Spartans.

Whippany Park 1, Boonton 0

Alexa Marzullo's goal with two minutes remaining snapped a scoreless deadlock and powered the Wildcats past Boonton in a Section 1, Group I game on Monday, Oct. 24.

Hannah Klein made eight saves for Whippany Park, which earned a quarterfinal matchup with top-seeded Newton.

Charlie Wagner, the Bombers' goalie, ended with three saves.

Parsippany Hills 1, Raritan 0

Brittany Bonin, a senior forward, recorded the game's lone goal, boosting the Vikings over Raritan in Section 2, Group II first-round play on Monday, Oct. 24.

Preya Patel made four saves for Parsippany Hills, the 11th seed.

The Vikings advance and will travel to third-seeded Bernards.

Warren Hills 2, Madison 1

Warren Hills received first-half goals from Tali Popinko and Rebecca Sigman in its regular season win over Madison on Monday, Oct. 24.

The Dodgers' goal came off the stick of Elizabeth Romano in the second half.

Madison goalie Nicole Ducey had eight saves.

Randolph 3, West Morris 2 (OT)

TT Naslonski's goal midway through overtime completed her hat trick and boosted the Rams over West Morris on Monday, Oct. 24.

Naslonski also had an assist for Randolph. Rams goalie Mackenzie Vorel had a busy day in goal, turning back 17 shots.

The Wolfpack's goals were scored by Faith Spaziano.
