McNamara strikes twice to propel Crimson

Emma Polaski opened the scoring, connecting with 6:03 left in the first period, and Morristown-Beard went on to defeat Princeton Day 4-1 on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Twin Oaks Rink.

Kathleen McNamara had the Crimson's third and fourth goals. Kendall Cornine had a second-period score for the winners.

Cornine, Polaski and Carolyn Chambers notched one assist apiece while Kelly Dolan had two. Morristown-Beard is 11-3-1.

Morristown-Beard 4, Portledge 1

Morristown-Beard received a hat trick from Emma Polaski and gained a victory over Portledge (N.Y.) on Friday, Feb. 7.

Polaski scored the gamewinner with 3:49 left in the third period. The decisive goal was set up by Mikhaela Schultz and Kelly Dolan. Alex Horton struck twice for Portledge and opened the scoring with 4:07 remaining in the first period.

Kendall Cornine capped the scoring for Morristown-Beard (10-3-1). Cornine, Polaski and Carolyn Chambers had assists for the Crimson. Maggie O'Connell had nine saves.

Morristown-Beard 5, Pingry 0

Mikhaela Schultz, Kendall Cornine and Carolyn Chambers scored in the opening period to help Morristown-Beard gain a 3-0 lead on the way to a win over Pingry on Monday, Jan. 27.

Emma Polaski and Delaney Flinn had third-period goals for the Crimson (8-3-1).

Polaski and Flinn had two assists apiece. Maggie O'Connell made 12 saves for Morristown-Beard.

Lawrenceville 7, Morristown-Beard 2

Lawrenceville gained a 6-0 lead on the way to a victory over Morristown-Beard on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Amanda Drobot had three of Lawrencville's first six goals. She opened the scoring by converting at 14:17 of the first period.

Morristown-Beard (6-3-1) received goals from Carolyn Chambers and Emma Polaski.

Millbrook (N.Y.) 6, Morristown-Beard 2

Kendall Cornine and Carolyn Chambers had goals for the Crimson in their setback to undefeated Millbrook on Friday, Jan. 10.

Melissa Sheeran had a hat trick for Millbrook.

Christina D'Alessandro and Kathleen McNamara had assists for the Crimson (6-2-1).

Morristown-Beard 3, Princeton Day 1

The Crimson, behind two goals by Emma Polaski and one by Kathleen McNamara, registered a win over Princeton Day on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

Assists for Morristown-Beard (6-1-1) were by Carolyn Chambers, Kendall Cornine, Christina D'Alessandro and Mikheala Schultz.

Maggie O'Connell made five saves for the Crimson.
