Kendelski, Gaels upend West Milford

Roxbury raced out to a 6-0 lead and went to gain a 17-11 win over West Milford on Monday, May 12.

The Gaels (7-12) received five goals from Jamie Kendelski and a hat trick from Chelsea Artigliere. Artigliere also had three assists.

West Milford (7-10) was paced by Bailey Cole's hat trick.

Roxbury 15, Mount Olive 11

Amanda Beal struck for five goals to pace Roxbury to victory over Mount Olive on Wednesday, May 7.

Beal, a senior midfielder, also had an assist. Chelsea Artigliere and Kayla Lucia scored three goals each for the Gaels (5-11).

Mount Olive received hat tricks from Grace Kim and Sarah McEvoy.

Morris Catholic 19, Park Regional 5

Morris Catholic opened an 11-1 halftime lead on the way to a Morris County Tournament preliminary-round win over Park Regional on Thursday, May 1.

Taylor Shannahan scored four times, Rachel Mills and Sarah Shirkey had hat tricks and Lexi Finn had two goals and five assists for Morris Catholic.

Melissa Wamp had a hat trick for 20th-seeded Park. The 13th-seeded Crusaders face fourth-seeded West Morris in the next round.

Roxbury 15, Boonton 5

Amanda Beal and Jenna Kaijala each fired hat tricks for the Gaels in MCT preliminary-round action on Thursday, May 1.

Brianna Frias and Laura Gormley each scored twice for the 18th-seeded Bombers.

Roxbury, which led 11-2 at halftime, faces No. 2 Mendham in the next round.

Regular season

Jefferson 14, West Milford 4

Kara Hodapp's four goals and two assists paced undefeated Jefferson, now 12-0, to victory on Thursday, May 1.

Kendra Nolan had a hat trick for the Falcons.

Jenna Prezwodek, Danielle Pini and Gina Laganella finished with two goals apiece for Jefferson.

Mountain Lakes 18, West Morris 5

Victoria Kalamaras notched four goals and four assists to pace the Lakers.

Granger Rosati added four goals and Jackie Perry and Sarah Bedard each fired hat tricks for Mountain Lakes.

Chelsea Orban scored twice for the Wolfpack.

Jefferson 13, St. Elizabeth 2

Kara Hodapp had five goals and one assist to highlight Jefferson's 13-2 victory over St. Elizabeth on Monday, April 28.

Kendra Nolan had three goals and two assists and Danielle Pini scored twice for the Falcons (11-0).

Megan Dowd and Emilia Scalaro connected for the Panthers.

Sparta 15, Roxbury 6

Taryn Penna scored five goals to lead Sparta past Roxbury on Senior Day, a day that the Spartans dedicated to breast cancer awareness.

Julia McGuire had a hat trick for Sparta (5-6) in this game on April 28.

Roxbury's Kayla Lucia had two goals. The Gaels are 3-9.

Mountain Lakes 13, Clearview 11

Jackie Perry and Victoria Kalamaras scored four goals to pace Mountain Lakes to a win over Clearview on Saturday, April 26.

Nicole Kalamaras scored twice for the Lakers, who rallied from a 7-3 halftime deficit.

Mountain Lakes is 12-1 on the season.

Jefferson 15, Mount Olive 5

Kara Hodapp and Danielle Pini had four goals and three assists each to spark the unbeaten Falcons on Saturday, April 26.

Gina Laganella and Brianna Sekula also added a pair of goals for Jefferson (10-0).

Sarah McEvoy scored four times for the Marauders. Jefferson led 9-2 at the half.

Rumson 14, Mendham 6

Becky Gohsler, Carlye Maita and Carrie Speicher scored two goals apiece for the Minutemen on Saturday, April 26.

Rumson led, 7-2, at halftime.

Immaculate Heart 18, Morristown 14

Maddy Heher scored four goals, Casey O'Brien had three goals and four assists and Allie Ferrara had a hat trick for the Colonials in action on April 26.

IHA led 10-7 at the half and held on for the win.

Morris Catholic 15, Roxbury 5

Taylor Shannahan had five goals and two assists when Morris Catholic defeated Roxbury in action on Wednesday, April 23.

Rachel Mills and Hayley Driscoll had hat tricks for the Crusaders (7-4). Lexi Finn notched three assists.

For Roxbury, Amanda Beal scored twice. The Gaels dropped to 3-8.

Boonton 13, Morris Hills 10

Meghan Mollahan, a senior, had seven goals and an assist to spark Boonton to victory over Morris Hills in overtime on Thursday, April 17.

Brianna Frias added a hat trick and Emily Sorochynskyj had two goals and two assists for Boonton.

Kellyann Gangaware and Kyleigh Miller posted hat tricks for the Scarlet Knights.

Jefferson 14, High Point 3

Kendra Nolan scored five goals and Kara Hodapp had four goals and three assists for the Falcons in action on Thursday, April 17.

Sam Holeritter had a goal and an assist to lift unbeaten Jefferson (7-0).

The Falcons led, 12-1, at the half.

Mount Olive 10, Vernon 9

Sarah McEvoy scored six goals and Claire Callaghan had a goal and three assists for the Marauders on April 17.

The contest was tied 5-5 at the half.

Mountain Lakes 10, West Essex 5

Nicole Kalamaras fired a hat trick and scored what proved to be the game-winning goal for the Lakers.

Mountain Lakes pulled away with a 6-2 second-half effort.

Morris Knolls 13, Sparta 4

Giulia Vitolo had four goals and two assists to spark Morris Knolls to a win over Sparta on Wednesday, April 16.

It was the first win of the season for the Golden Eagles. Morris Knolls led 9-2 at the half.

Molly Reichhard, Bridget Francisco, Krista Mitarotonda and Jacie Cooper scored two goals each for Morris Knolls (1-7).

Chatham 15, Immaculate Heart 13

Bridget Ballard had four goals and two assists when Chatham defeated IHA on Wednesday, April 16.

Maggie O'Neill and Kristen Maiorano registered hat tricks for the Cougars (5-5).

Morristown 12, Madison 10 (OT)

Casey O'Brien had four goals and three assists and Allie Ferrara had four goals, including two overtime goals, for the Colonials on Wednesday, April 16.

Meghan Siverson added a pair of goals for the Colonials (9-1).

Michelle Montagna scored four goals and Laney Rutland and Brynn Taylor scored two goals each for the Dodgers (5-3).

Mendham 9, Westfield 8 (OT)

Carlye Maita and Becky Gohsler scored three goals each for the Minutemen in action on Wednesday, April 16.

Kira Lopes added a pair of goals for Mendham (6-2).

Roxbury 8, Randolph 6

Amanda Beal scored five times and Chelsea Artigliere added a pair of goals for Roxbury (3-6) on Wednesday, April 16. The Gaels led, 6-4, at halftime.

Natalie Panvini and Megan Eberly each scored twice for the Rams (3-7).

Kinnelon 21, Mount St. Dominic 17

Talia Price had six goals and two assists, Izzy Berezni and Ashley Bobinski had four goals and three assists each and Victoria Bobinski had three goals and three assists for the Colts on Wednesday, April 16.

The Colts improved their record to 3-4.

Montville 9, Morris Catholic 8

Abby Haimson scored four goals, including the gamewinner, and Nicole Dvoretsky fired a hat trick for the Mustangs on Wednesday, April 16.

Haimson scored the decisive goal with 6:42 left in regulation.

Strong defense from Montville and goalie Julianna Russo thwarted some late Morris Catholic scoring opportunities. Lexi Flinn had a hat trick and Haley Driscoll and Rachel Petruska scored two goals each for the Crusaders.

Oak Knoll 12, West Morris 11

Chelsea Orban and Sarah Frankovic notched hat tricks for the Wolfpack in this matchup on Wednesday, April 16.

Sydney Sapir added a pair of goals for West Morris.

Verona 17, Pequannock 16

Arden Kassaleh scored six times and Danielle Musto had five goals and three assists for Pequannock on Wednesday, April 16.

Alyssa Tachon contributed four goals and two assists for the Golden Panthers (4-6).
