Jamie Fesinstine had a triple and Kelsey Brown had an RBI single for the Wolfpack versus the Patriots. Lenape Valley benefitted from seven errors.
In the second game, Becca Raymond and Jamie Fesinstine hit home-runs. Kat Spilman was 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored and Alyssa Perkalis was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Freshman Nicole Frank got her first win of her career (freshman pitcher)
Jefferson 5, Montville 4
Melissa Jurkiewicz scattered five hits and Sandra Federocko knocked in three runs to send Jefferson to a 5-4 victory over Montville on Friday, April 13.
Jurkiewicz went the distance, striking out 11 and walking one. The Falcons scored what proved to be the winning run in the fifth inning.
Federocko had two hits as did Amanda Gerritsen. Jade Blanchard knocked in a run for the Falcons (3-2).
Montville received two RBIs from Emily Mulligan. Sam Booth scored three times. Jessica Shalongo absorbed the pitching loss despite striking out nine.
Whippany Park 9, Butler 0
Wildcats coach Todd Callaghan notched his 100th career victory when his team blanked the Bulldogs on Friday, April 13.
Hannah Mucerino doubled and had three RBIs for Whippany Park (8-0). Lindsay Cashen contributed two hits and scored twice. Ashley Belott blasted a home run for the Wildcats.
Jenn Sanislo, the winning pitcher, struck out 12, walked one and allowed three hits.
Villa Walsh 13, Morristown-Beard 2 (5 inn.)
After the Crimson scored twice in the top of the first inning, Villa Walsh struck for eight runs in the bottom of the frame.
Run-producing singles by Veronica Manley, Almarie Brennan, Caitria O'Shaughnessy and Jenna Fazzini were key in this game played on Friday, April 13.
Vikings senior Grace Edelson was 3 for 3, including a double, three RBIs and two runs scored.
Winning pitcher Jessica Walsh (five-hitter, four strikeouts, two walks) had a second-inning, bases-loaded double that scored two more Villa Walsh runs. Morristown-Beard scored its two runs in the first inning when Jill Raia walked and stole second. Hannah Guenther followed with a single. Christina D'Alessandro bunted home Raia and Lacey Nussbaum singled home Guenther.
Boonton 8, Mountain Lakes 0
Freshman Mackenzie Thompson led the way for Boonton with a triple, a singled and two RBIs on Friday, April 13.
Sarah Marini hit a solo homer in the sixth inning and Kylie Morgan added a two-run triple in the seventh. Mariel Dearie, Karena Noce
Anna Lee Smith and Kelly Whritenour all singled for the Bombers (7-0).
Morgan had her second three-hitter and shutout of the week and improved to 3-0. She has 30 strikeouts, six walks and a 0.33 ERA over the last week. Emily Alberts had a big day for the Lakers, getting all three of their hits.
Pequannock 16, Dover 0
Senior right-hander Gina Martucci pitched a perfect game for the Golden Panthers, striking out nine and walking none on Friday, April 13.
Dana Torchis went 3 for 4 with four RBIs and Tiffany Thumann went 3 for 3 with four RBIs.
Eleni Lutas had two hits and three RBIs for Pequannock.
Pope John 11, Parsippany Hills 1
The hitting of Ashley May, Brooke Powers and Casey Connolly was key when Pope John beat Parsippany Hills on Thursday, April 12.
May had a three-run double. Brooke Powers, the winning pitcher, helped herself by going 3 for 3, including a double and a solo home run, and had two RBIs. Connolly doubled twice and drove in three runs. Toni Santonastasso doubled for the Lions (6-0).
Powers, a senior right-hander, allowed three hits, struck out four and walked one in the five-inning game.
Katie Schnabel doubled for Parsippany Hills (3-3).
West Morris 10, Columbia 5 (10 inn.)
Allie McCourt's singled, doubled, tripled and drove in three runs to power West Morris on Thursday, April 12.
Emily Rubright also had three hits for the Wolfpack. She knocked in two runs.
Jamie Fesinstine and Nicole Frank combined for 17 strikeouts, five walks and two hit batsman. Fesinstine contributed three hits, two of them doubles, and had two RBIs.
Columbia's Krysten VanNatta was 2 for 4 with a single, home run, three RBIs and three runs scored.
Kinnelon 9, Newton 7
The Colts, behind 2-for-3 offensive efforts by Alyssa Schwed, Katie Veltri, Kathryn Waldrop and Morgan Browning, won their second game of the season.
Schwed, a senior shortstop, drove in two runs as did Veltri, a junior left fielder. One of Waldrop's hits was a double and she knocked in three runs. Browning singled twice.
Megan Beiermeister went three innings to earn the pitching victory. She fanned four and walked one.
Newton was paced by Jackie Miller's three hits and five RBIs. Amie DeFeo and Katie Smith had three hits for the Braves.
Randolph 10, Morristown 9
Cynthia Meringer's double in the bottom of the 10th inning snapped a 9-9 deadlock and lifted Randolph over Morristown 10-9 on Wednesday, April 11.
Meringer, a freshman first baseman, also had two home runs and three RBIs.
Victoria Conklin tripled and drove in two runs for the Rams (2-2).
Casey Levens was the winning pitcher, going the last four innings in relief of Kelly O'Neill.
Pope John 10, Jefferson 2
Christina Marinaro and Toni Santonastasso each belted two-run home runs to highlight Pope John's victory over Jefferson on Wednesday, April 11.
Marinaro finished with three RBIs for the Lions, who pushed their record to 5-0.
Senior righty Brooke Powers earned the pitching win by yielding six hits and striking out seven. Powers is also 5-0.
Powers' freshman sister, Kaylee, chipped in with a triple and Ashley May doubled. Jefferson, which received two hits and two RBIs from Caitlyn Dougherty, is 2-2.
Whippany Park 10, Villa Walsh 0
Jenn Sanislo did it all, hitting and pitching the Wildcats to a shutout victory on Wednesday, April 11.
Sanislo, a junior, went 3 for 3 with five RBIs. She singled, doubled and homered. In the circle, she struck out six, walked none and gave up two hits in the five-inning game.
Another hitting standout was the catcher, Brianna Cetrulo, who tripled twice and knocked in two runs. Villa Walsh's hits came off the bats of Grace Edelson and Colette Geraghty.
Kinnelon 14, Butler 4
Alyssa Schwed rapped out three hits and knocked in four runs to lead Kinnelon on Wednesday, April 11.
Schwed, a senior shortstop, also scored twice. Morgan Browning chipped in with two hits and four RBIs. Sarah Galese and Katie Veltri had two hits and two RBIs apiece.
Ally Spellman drove in two runs for the Bulldogs.
West Morris 5, Mendham 0
The Wolfpack gained a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the second innning on Alyssa Perkalis' two-run double and Allie McCourt's two-run single and went on to shut out sister school Mendham and stay undefeated after five games on Wednesday, April 11.
Becca Raymond hit a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning for West Morris' fifth run of the game.
Winning pitcher Jamie Fesinstine went the distance, striking out seven, walking one and scattering three hits. Mendham's Julie Gallagher doubled twice.
Hanover Park 14, Dover 0
Sam Snyder fired a one-hitter for the Hornets when they shut out Dover on Wednesday, April 11.
Center fielder Christina LoConte, a senior, went 4 for 4, including a double, with four runs scored.
Chrissy Amendola and Alyssa Santaniello also doubled for Hanover Park (2-4).
Morris Knolls 5, Roxbury 3
Golden Eagles senior shortstop Tori Clarke went 3 for 3 with three RBIs on Wednesday, April 11.
Clarke finished with two singles and a two-run homer for Morris Knolls (3-4).
For Roxbury, Holly Arentowicz slugged a two-run homer and Ashtin Helmer also homered.
West Morris 12, Morristown 8
Allie McCourt and Becca Raymond paced a 16-hit attack when West Morris Central rallied to defeat Morristown 12-8 on Tuesday, April 10.
McCourt was 3 for 5 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Raymond finished 3 for 4 with a run scored.
A five-run outburst in the fifth inning gave West Morris a 12-7 lead.
Additional standouts at the plate were Emily Rubright (2 for4, two runs scored, two RBIs) and Jamie Fesinstine (two-run triple). Fesinstine, a junior, pitched a complete game, giving up nine hits, striking out 12 and walking four for the Wolfpack (4-0).
Morristown's Nicole Rhoades doubled twice, scored twice and knocked in two runs. Joanna Lee finished with two hits, one of them a double, and scored a run. Mollie Forman, who had seven strikeouts and walk, absorbed the loss for the Colonials (2-1).

Morris Tech 10, Newark Tech 0
Senior right-hander Jess Carey won twice, pitching Morris Tech to a sweep of Newark Tech, 10-0, 10-0, on Tuesday, April 10.
Carey had 10 strikeouts in the opener and nine in the second game.
Briana Giovenco, a senior shortstop and Pequannock resident, blasted three home runs, including two in the first game, and knocked in six runs for Morris Tech (4-1).
Other offensive standouts were Gianna Andreotta (two hits, triple, three RBIs in second game) and Shannon Walsh (double in first game).
Parsippany Hills 12, Columbia 3
Molly Hoyt, Colleen O'Connor and Mackenzie Brown had two hits apiece for the Vikings (3-2) on Tuesday, April 10.
Katie Schnabel had three RBIs for Parsippany Hills. Krystina Lynch and Brown drove in two RBIs each.
Kyrsten VanNatta was 3 for 3 with a run scored for Columbia.
Parsippany 11, Butler 3
The Red Hawks pounded out 11 hits to fuel a victory over Butler on Tuesday, April 10.
Victoria Rossi had three hits and Alex Rigoli and Veronica Zoon had two each. Rigoli and Kelly Serrao knocked in three runs apiece for Parsippany, which took a 3-2 lead in the third inning.
Winning pitcher Sam Pisillo scattered eight hits. Pisillo struck out three and walked two for Parsippany (2-4).
Villa Walsh 8, Morris Catholic 7
Villa Walsh, buoyed by Juliana Strelec's two doubles and two RBIs, edged the Crusaders 8-7 on Monday, April 9.
The Vikings' four-run first inning was keyed by Strelec's base-loaded double. Strelec also knocked in what proved to be the winning run in the fifth inning.
The Crusaders threatened in the bottom of the seventh inning. Kendall Gregory singled with one out. A hard-hit line drive was caught by Villa Walsh pitcher Jessica Walsh, who fired to first for a game-ending double play.
Walsh, a freshman, got the first win of her career. It was also the first victory of the 2012 campaign for the Vikings.
Morris Catholic leadoff batter Cara Napolitano had three hits, two for extra bases, and scored four times. Jeannie Kivlon banged out four hits and knocked in three runs.
Chatham 10, Morris Hills 2
Charlotte Zukauckas, Kerry Nelson, Kendall Davies and Amanda Fazio had two RBIs apiece to spark Chatham's attack on Monday, April 9.
Zukauckas and Jenna Ioffredo had two hits each for the Cougars, perfect after four games. Both of Zukauckas' hits were doubles. Nelson and Davies also had two-base hits.
Fazio, a senior left-hander, limited Morris Hills to four hits. She struck out seven and walked none for Chatham, which went ahead 3-2 by scoring twice in the second inning.
Boonton 8, Vernon 2
Kylie Morgan, a junior, yielded one hits and struck out 11 to spur unbeaten Boonton on Monday, April 9.
Sarah Marini came up with two hits and drove in three runs. Anna Lee Smith was 3 for 4 with a triple and an RBI for the Bombers.
Kelly Whritenour added a triple and RBI and Karena Noce laced two singles and knocked in a run. Dana Doyle, Mackenzie Thompson and Mariel Dearie singled for the winners.
Whippany Park 7, Montville 0
Brianna Cetrulo, a senior catcher, went 2 for 4, including a double, and knocked in two runs to help Whippany Park blank Montville on Monday, April 9 and stay undefeated after six games.
Other offensive standouts for the Wildcats were Courtney Simon (2 for 4, double, run scored), Sam Mellea (2 for 4, stolen base, run scored) and Alexa Cozzarelli (2 for 3, RBI). Hannah Mucerino slugged an RBI triple and had a sacrifice fly.

Hanover Park's Sam Snyder surrendered eight hits, had six strikeouts and a walk. Caitlyn George was 2-fror-4 with an RBI and Nicole Fernicola was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Parsippany Hills 7, Kinnelon 2
Parsippany Hills erupted for six runs on six hits in the fourth inning and went on to gain a victory over Kinnelon on Thursday, April 4.
Kaitlyn Jansen hit an RBI double, Katie Schabel and Kylie Taylor had RBI singles and Erica Ruja cleared the bases with an RBI triple.
The Vikings (2-2) scored again in the sixth when Schnabel led off with a triple and came home on Ruja's sacrifice fly.
Kinnelon (0-3) scored two unearned runs on a throwing error in the bottom of the sixth inning. Alyssa and Katie Veltri singled twice for the Colts.
Whippany Park 6, Montclair 0
The Wildcats sent their record to 3-0 behind Jenn Sanislo's four-hitter and Hannah Mucerino's fifth-inning grand slam on Thursday, April 5.
Sanislo struck out 15 and walked two. Sara Boyadjis had an RBI for Whippany Park.
Fabiana Citro had two hits and drove in a run for Montclair.
Boonton 12, Morris Tech 4
Mackenzie Thompson, Dana Doyle, Sarah Marini and Kelly Whritenour led Boonton to its fourth straight victory on Thursday, April 5.
Thompson rapped out two hits, including a triple, and knocked in a pair of runs. Doyle doubled twice and had an RBI. Marini also had two doubles and finished with two RBIs. Whritenour doubled, tripled and drove in two runs. Amanda Nardone added a single and two RBIs for the Bombers.
Kylie Morgan won her fourth game of the week. Morgan, a junior, is batting .571 with two doubles, a triple, a home run and 15 RBIs.
Briana Glovenco homered and Jess Carey had two hits and an RBI for Morris Tech.
Parsippany 14, Dover 4
Cynthia Abinader and Alex Rigoli knocked in three runs apiece when Parsippany picked up its first win of the season on Thursday, April 5.
Hannah Hasel and Kelly Serao had two RBIs apiece for the Red Hawks (1-3).
Parsippany was up 5-4 after six innings but posted nine runs in the seventh inning to take control.
Whippany Park 1, Kinnelon 0
Courtney Simon tripled to knock in the only run when Whippany Park edged Kinnelon on Wednesday, April 4.
Simon, a junior, had her three-base hit in the fifth inning and the run stood up. Alexa Cozzarelli, also a junior, had a double and scored the Wildcats' run.
Jenn Sanislo, a junior right-hander, struck out 16 and allowed only three hits for Whippany Park (2-0).
The Colts' hits came off the bats of Morgan Browning, Alyssa Schwed and Kathryn Waldrop.
Chatham 2, Hanover Park 0
Senior right-hander Amanda Fazio pitched a two-hitter and McCall Moore had a pair of hits, including a RBI single, to boost the Cougars (3-0) on Wednesday, April 4.
Fazio, who will play at Bucknell next season, struck out 15 and walked none. She has 40 strikeouts in three games.
Chatham got its first run on an error in the fourth inning. Moore singled up the middle to knock in the second run in the sixth inning.
Jenna Ioffredo doubled for the Cougars. Nicole Fernicola and Chrissy Amendola had hits for Hanover Park (1-1).
Morris Knolls 10, Randolph 0
Morris Knolls, behind the hitting of seniors Elaine Hua and Tori Clarke and the pitching of Kim Felix, shut out the Rams on Wednesday, April 4.
Hua and Clarke had two hits apiece. Hua drove in a run and Clarke, who doubled, knocked in two. Kim Felix surrendered two hits and struck out six to gain the pitching victory.
Victoria Conklin and Amanda Magadan each had a hit for Randolph.
Boonton 16, Morristown-Beard 1
Kylie Morgan continued her strong start for Boonton, doubling, tripling and knocking in five runs in this game on Wednesday, April 4.
Morgan, a junior, also picked up her third win of the season.
Karena Noce (two hits, two RBIs), Kim Cacciabeve (triple, RBI), Mariel Dearie (single, RBI) were the offensive standouts for the Bombers.
Freshman Lauren Klemans rapped out her first varsity hit. Dana Doyle, Mackenzie Thompson and Anne Lee Smith added singles for Boonton. Jill Raia doubled for Morristown-Beard.
Roxbury 3, Mendham 1
The Gaels scored all three of their runs in the fourth inning on the way to a victory over Mendham on Wednesday, April 4.
Emily Helmer led off the fourth with a base hit and came home on Holly Arentowicz's triple. Dana Brady drove in the second run with a RBI double and Erica Figurelli had a RBI single.
Mendham got its run in the sixth inning on Tess Madarasz's RBI single.
Winning pitcher Ashtin Helmer struck out 12 and gave up four hits for Roxbury (2-0).
Morris Catholic 10, Parsippany 9
The Crusaders scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning and notched its first win of the 2012 season on Wednesday, April 4.
Parsippany (0-3) was led by Alex Rigoli, who had a hit and three RBIs, and Cynthia Abinader, who had a hit and drove in two runs.
Chatham 5, Mount St. Dominic 2
Chatham scored all of its runs in the fifth and sixth innings to rally past Mount St. Dominic on Tuesday, April 3.
Kelly Winans was one of three players to have two hits, including a double, for the Cougars (2-0). Winans drove in three runs.
Kendall Davies and Cara Delsandro contributed two hits apiece. Davies and Patricia Crigler had RBIs.
Senior left-hander Amanda Fazio notched the pitching victory with a four-hitter. Fazio struck out 13 and walked one.
Mount St. Dominic's hits came off the bats of Jamie Purcell and Katie Johnson.
Boonton 17, Dover 0
Kylie Morgan (three hits, three RBIs) and Karena Noce (4 for 4, three RBIs) led the way for the Bombers in their win over Dover on Tuesday, April 3.
Additional offensive stands for Boonton (2-0) were Kelly Whritenour, who doubled and singled and had four RBIs, and Mackenzie Thompson, who went 2 for 3 with two RBIs.
Morgan registered the pitching win for the Bombers.
Sarah Inglis doubled for Dover.
Boonton 8, Wallkill Valley 5
Boonton, fueled by the pitching and hitting of junior Kylie Morgan, defeated Wallkill Valley in the opener for both teams on Monday, April 2.
Morgan (2 for 4, five RBIs) homered in her first at-bat and later tripled to knock in two more runs.
Anna Lee Smith went 3 for 4 with four stolen bases for the Bombers. Kim Cacciabeve added two hits and two stolen bases.
Freshman Mackenzie Thompson was excellent in her varsity debut, rapping out a hit in her first at-bat and making a diving catch in the fifth inning.
Boonton will make up its game against Dover today, April 3, at home. Rain caused the game to be postponed on Saturday.
West Morris 5, Parsippany Hills 0
Junior Jamie Fesinstine notched the pitching victory for the Wolfpack with a two-hitter. She struck out 14 and walked only one.
Becca Raymond was 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for West Morris. Allie McCourt contributed three hits and scored twice and Emily Rubright had a two-run single.
Kylie Taylor and Erica Ruja had one hit apiece for the Vikings.
Hanover Park 7, Morris Catholic 3
Christina LoConte, a senior center fielder, had four hits and scored twice to spark the Hornets.
Hanover Park also received a pair of hits, one of them a double, from Caitlin George. Cara Napolitano had two hits for the Crusaders.
