Park's Hoberman tallies 100th career goal

WHIPPANY _ Amanda Hoberman won the draw control, raced to the net, faked low, shot high and made the 100th goal of her varsity career look like so many others that had come before this milestone. Hoberman scored five times as Park Regional pounded Parsippany 16-1 in a girls lacrosse contest on Thursday, April 20. Molly Powers, Michaela Kaminski and Natalie Santangelo also scored two goals apiece for Park Regional, which improved to 6-0 on the season against winless Parsippany. Fast start propels Mendham

RANDOLPH _ When Ali Cassera played lacrosse for West Essex, she knew what it meant to battle Mendham year after year. Now that the former foe is coaching the Minutemen, Cassera knows exactly what she wants to get out of her players. Mendham has stumbled recently but got off to a strong start in its 19-11 triumph over Randolph in a regular season game on Saturday, April 8. Meredith Curtin and Kolina Unger scored four goals apiece and Jessica Beneducci and Megan Graziano registered hat tricks for Mendham (2-3). TT Naslonski paced Randolph (2-1) with eight goals. Cassera has a lot to…

Munday has a perfect homecoming

MOUNTAIN LAKES _ Kimmi Klingener and Rowan Menard had a primo vantage point for one of the most significant games ever played on the turf at Wilkins Field. Klingener and Menard, both freshman lacrosse players for Mountain Lakes High School, stood on the track, just behind the Ohio State University bench. The action - the Buckeyes versus USC in a Division I women's lacrosse game - was yards away. The duo chased down balls while paying close attention to the events on the field. "This has been a good experience," Klingener said. "I'm glad I got to watch. The passing, the transitioning... They're so…
