MOUNTAIN LAKES _ Mountain Lakes (6-1) earned the top seed and defending champion Chatham (5-3) the second at the Morris County Girls Lacrosse Tournament seeding meeting held on Thursday, April 21.

Mendham (4-4) and West Morris Central (3-4) rounded out the top four seeds. Play begins this weekend with preliminary games. First-round games must be played by Saturday April 30.

Quarterfinals are scheduled for Tuesday, May 3. The semifinals are set for Thursday, May 5 and the title game is on Saturday, May 7. The semifinals and final are scheduled for Montville High School.

Last year, Chatham defeated Mountain Lakes 7-6 in a double overtime thriller.
