Colonials fall to North Hunterdon

Allison Remler had 10 assists and Jenna Brophy had seven digs when Morristown fell to North Hunterdon, 25-23, 25-13, on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Judy Errichetti had six kills for the Colonials (11-17).

North Hunterdon's Ali Lane put down seen kills.

Villa Walsh 2, Parsippany 1

Anique Barch had 20 kills, 13 digs and 10 service points, including four aces, to power Villa Walsh past Parsippany, 22-25, 25-12 and 25-20, on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Mala Stauder had 22 assists for the Vikings (16-7).

The Red Hawks are 12-8. 

Parsippany 2, Jefferson 1

Parsippany, buoyed by Donna Herbst's 22 assists, 11 service points and six digs, beat Jefferson, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, on Monday, Oct. 28.

Nicole Polak had nine kills, four blocks and 13 service points for the Red Hawks (12-7). Veronica Shaw had 12 digs and 13 service points, including two aces.

Angelica Link contributed 10 digs and seven service points. The Falcons are 17-5.

Kinnelon 2, Villa Walsh 1

Mala Stauder had 12 assists and five digs but the Vikings fell to Kinnelon on Monday, Oct. 28.

Anique Barch had 9 kills and four digs for Villa Walsh (15-7), which lost, 21-25, 25-23, 15-25.

Megan Powlen and Allessandra Mondello had eight service points apiece.

Parsippany Hills 2, Morristown 1

Parsippany Hills received eight kills and seven service points from Kaitlyn Jansen when it defeated Morristown, 27-25, 25-22 and 25-18 on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Dana Cavanaugh had nine digs for the Vikings (8-14). Mikaela Dredden had eight blocks. Erin Fulmore had four assists.

Morristown (11-13) was led by Judy Errichetti's 12 kills and 24 assists.

Morristown 2, Bridgewater-Raritan 1

Allison Remler's 17 assists and five blocks led Morristown past Bridgewater-Raritan, 16-25, 25-16, 25-18, on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

Jenna Brophy had six digs for the Colonials (11-12).

Judy Errichetti (eight kills, seven digs, seen aces) and Fara Cohen (seven kills, two blocks, four digs) were additional standouts for Morristown. 

Villa Walsh 2, St. Elizabeth 0

Anique Barch had four kills and Dana Henry had three for Villa Walsh when it defeated St. Elizabeth, 25-10, 25-8, on Monday, Oct. 21.

Riley Henderson had a pair of blocks for the Vikings (13-6). Christina Pallitto and Delia Hellander led with three digs apiece.

St. Elizabeth's Alexandra Abrams had five digs.

Morristown 2, Sparta 0

Fara Cohen and Judy Errichetti had five kills each to help the Colonials to a 25-20, 25-9 victory over Sparta on Monday, Oct. 21.

Cohen had four aces as well. Errichetti ended with five digs for Morristown (10-12).

Sparta was led by Jenny Newton's five assists and eight service points.

Parsippany 2, Villa Walsh 1

Parsippany, led by Nicole Polak's six kills, seven blocks, four digs and six service points, beat Villa Walsh, 23-25, 25-12, 25-23, on Friday, Oct. 18.

Angelica Link had 10 digs and 11 service points. Victoria Bond had 13 service points. Veronica Shaw had 20 assists for the Red Hawks (9-6) and Donna Herbst had 12 assists.

Villa Walsh (12-5) was paced by Anique Barch (10 kills, 16 digs) and Megan Powlen (10 digs).

Morristown 2, Mendham 1

Judy Errichetti had nine kills and eight digs for Morristown, which defeated Mendham, 27-25, 29-31, 25-14, on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Allison Remler contributed 18 assists for the Colonials (9-12).

Mendham's Stephanie Blair had 33 assists and Natalie Knudsen had 14 kills. Mendham is 15-3.

Madison 2, Parsippany 0

Veronica Shaw had 16 digs and Donna Herbst had 11 assists but the Red Hawks (8-6) fell to Madison, 24-26, 14-25, on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Angelica Link had 10 digs and Nicole Polak had seven kills for Parsippany.

Madison is 16-3.

Parsippany 2, Morris Hills 1

Donna Herbst had a strong game for the Red Hawks with 12 assists and seven service points on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Parsippany, which won the games by scores of 25-23, 27-25, also received fine games from Veronica Shaw (7 digs) and Angelica Link (10 service points).

Selene Yang, Christina Rafanelli and Elise Sheplak had three kills apiece for Morris Hills (6-13).

Parsippany 2, Dover 0

Donna Herbst had 18 assists and five service points to highlight Parsippany's victory over Dover on Friday, Oct. 11.

Veronica Shaw contributed 13 digs and seven service points for the Red Hawks (7-5).

Jessica Cuoco had 11 service points for Parsippany, which triumphed, 25-20, 25-22. Nicole Polak led with seven kills.

For Dover, Jess Castro had six kills an five service points and Kyara Ramirez had 12 digs.

Villa Walsh 2, Voorhees 1

Anique Barch had 18 kills and eight blocks to spur Villa Walsh to victory over Voorhees on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Barch also finished with six digs and eight service points, including four aces, in the match which the Vikings (11-4) won, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21.

Veronica Manley had 14 service points. Another Villa Walsh standout was Mala Stauder with 19 assists.

Villa Walsh 2, Morristown-Beard 0

Dana Henry (8 service points, 2 digs) and Mary Cawley (7 service points, 4 digs) were two of the standouts when Villa Walsh defeated Morristown-Beard, 25-8, 25-17, on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Anique Barch and Riley Henderson had four kills apiece for the Vikings (10-4). Allessandra Mondello amd Mala Stauder had five assists apiece.

Dana Henry had four aces. The Crimson are 1-11.

Parsippany 2, Hanover Park 0

The Red Hawks, aided in part by Angelica Link's 15 service points, notched 26-24 and 25-21 wins over the Hornets on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Parsippany (6-5) also received 12 digs and eight service points from Veronica Shaw. Nicole Polak had seven kills for the Red Hawks.

Lauren Duborow contributed five kills.

Chatham 2, Morristown 1

The Cougars, buoyed by Carolyn Johnson's 21 assists, gained a hard-fought win over Morristown.

Zoe Ryan had 10 digs for the winners.

Morristown was led by Fara Cohen's eight kills. Allison Remler had 12 assists.

Kinnelon 2, Hackettstown 0

Sophia Tiajoloff passed for 14 assists when the Colts beat the Tigers on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Domonique Wirsing had eight service points, three of them aces, for Kinnelon (10-2).

Isabella Tighe had eight kills for the Colts. 

Morristown 2, Chatham 1

Powered by the play of Judy Errichetti (7 kills, 1 block, 4 digs), Morristown defeated Chatham on Thursday, Oct. 3.

Allison Remler had 18 assists for the Colonials (7-8). Abby Schubiger had five kills. Morristown won the first set, 26-24, then dropped the second, 16-25, before prevailing, 25-21.

Carolyn Johnson had 29 assists for the Cougars (8-4).

Morris Knolls 2, Morristown 1

After dropping the first set, Morris Knolls rallied to record a victory over Morristown on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The Golden Eagles, who received nine kills from Erin Bongo, lost 14-25 in the opening set before rebounding to take the next two, 25-23, 25-22.

Caroline Sceurman and Marlena Todd had four kills apiece for Morris Knolls (9-2). Cayloee Horohoe had five digs. Allison Remler had 25 kills for the Colonials (6-8).

Morristown 2, Mount Olive 1

The Colonials prevailed in a tight match against the Marauders after losing the first set on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Judy Errichetti and Abby Schubiger combined for 21 kills for Morristown (6-7). Allison Remler had 23 assists. Errichetti also had 16 digs.

Mount Olive (9-2) was paced by Keturah Orji (17 digs, 17 digs) and Sydney Summerville (15 digs, 9 assists, 5 kills).

Morris Knolls 2, Villa Walsh 0

Morris Knolls utilized a well-balanced attack to defeat Villa Walsh 25-15, 25-17 on Tuesday, Oct. 1 and send its record to 8-2.

Erin Bongo led the Golden Eagles in kills with five and also had four digs. Ashley Lesch, Caroline Sceurman and Danielle DeVite had five digs apiece. Lesch and Sceurman had four aces each.

Anique Barch (8 kills, 7 digs) and Mala Stauder (7 assists) propelled the Vikings.

Madison 2, Villa Walsh 0

Margy Taylor had nine kills, 16 digs and seven service points to power Madison past Villa Walsh on Friday, Sept. 27.

Alise Bassolino 14 digs and eight service points for the Dodgers (6-1). Katherine Clark had 21 assists.

Kelly Quinn and Olivia Alexander had 13 digs apiece for the winners. Villa Walsh (5-3) was paced by Anique Barch, who had six kills, two blocks and eight digs.

Morristown 2, Parsippany Hills 0

Allison Remler had 14 assists to highlight Morristown's win over the Vikings on Friday, Sept. 27.

Judy Errichetti had eight kills and five digs for the Colonials (5-6).

Morristown won the games, 31-29, 25-20.

Allison Remler's 11 assists helped Morristown defeat Parsippany 2-0 on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Abby Schubiger made six kills for the Colonials, who won, 25-19, 25-9. Judy Errichetti had five kills and three digs.

Veronica Shaw had  14 digs for the Red Hawks.

Villa Walsh 2, Morris Catholic 0

Villa Walsh pushed its record to 5-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 25 aided by Veronica Manley's 10 service points, including three aces, and Allessandra Mondello's eight digs and six service points when it defeated Morris Catholic, 25-22, 25-14.

Additional standouts included Anique Barch (7 kills, 3 blocks, 6 digs) and Mala Stauder (2 digs, 7 assists, 4 service points, 3 aces).

Morris Catholic is 3-4.

Livingston 2, Morristown 1

The Colonials (3-5) were paced by Judy Errichetti, who had eight kills, two digs and an ace in this match on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Allison Remler had 10 assists and Sarah DiStefano had six digs for Morristown which fell, 25-21, 13-25, 20-25.

Cate Leu had 12 kills for the Lancers (6-1).

Morristown 2, Vernon 1

Judy Errichetti paced Morristown with seven kills, two digs and six aces when it defeated Vernon on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Allison Remler had 11 assists for the Colonials, who prevailed 25-10, 20-25 and 25-22.

Abby Schubiger finished with seven kills for Morristown (2-2). Vernon is winless in four matches.
