Dodgers, Colonials prevail

Madison, behind two goals and an assist by Elizabeth Romano, shut out sixth-seeded Mount Olive 3-0 in a Morris County Tournament quarterfinal on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The other goal for the third-seeded and four-time defending champion Dodgers, set to meet Morristown in the semifinals, was by Margaret Sheeleigh.

Marauders goalie Ashleigh Gallagher finished with nine saves.

Morristown 5, Chatham 0

The Colonials' MCT quarterfinal win on Saturday, Oct. 8 was highlighted by Callie Sundin's hat trick.

Sam Hessels and Savannah Familo also put the ball in the goalcage for second-seeded Morristown.

Devon Colquhoun set up three of the Colonials' goals.

Mountain Lakes 4, Roxbury 2

Goals by Holly Smith, Jenny Smith, Isabella Fragomeni and Macara Desai propelled the Lakers in regular season action on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The Gaels' goals came off the sticks of Kayla Bedel-Franklin and Emma Karnitsky.

Mountain Lakes goalie Jessica Menack turned back nine shots on goal.

High Point 2, Delaware Valley 1 (OT)

Tyra Wingle's goal 1:52 into overtime snapped a 1-1 deadlock and lifted the Wildcats over Delaware Valley on Saturday, Oct. 8 in an H/W/S quarterfinal.

High Point's Cassady Bruning also had a goal.

Madeline Bell knotted the score, 1-1, for Delaware Valley on Madeline Bell's goal with 28 seconds left.

Parsippany Hills 3, St. Elizabeth 2 (OT)

Katie Rogers knocked in the decisive goal in the extra period to boost the Vikings over the Panthers in a regular season game on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Delaney Bishof, a senior co-captain, had a pair of goals and an assist for Parsippany Hills.

Katie Von Shaumburg and Rosie Sullivan converted for St. Elizabeth.

Morris Knolls 4, Governor Livingston 1

The Golden Eagles rode goals by Marisa Amoresano, Emily Blum, Danielle Caby and Erin Garvey to a win over Governor Livingston on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Shannon Fitzsimmons, Jill Lissner and Audrey Veivia had assists for Morris Knolls.

Golden Eagles goalie Reilly Anderson ended with three saves.

Boonton 2, Butler 1

Brooke Olsson recorded two goals to power Boonton to a win over Butler on Friday, Oct. 7.

One of Olsson's scores was assisted by Michelle Tolochko. Nicole Fioretti scored the Bulldogs' goal.

Boonton netminder Charlie Wagner turned in a 13-save effort.
